Jen Widerstrom

APRIL, 2019
The first time I met Jen Widerstrom was at Summer Strong, an annual conference put on by Sorinex Exercise Equipment. As one of the conference presenters, Jen had so much energy and passion as she spoke that it made everyone in the place ready to drop and give her ten! Since then we have become part of the same family and I’m excited she’s on the upcoming episode of Beyond Sets and Reps.
Her Wikipedia page states plainly that Jen is a fitness model and personal trainer, but I don’t think that does her justice. She was a trainer on The Biggest Loser, Phoenix on American Gladiators and now she’s moved on to using her platform to help as many people as possible.

“What can I do to help you?”
Jen’s WiderStrong programs are available on her website, as well as on the Neou Fitness app. She’s the Fitness Director of Shape Magazine and as if all that isn’t enough, she has a speaking tour lined up with everything from strength and conditioning conferences to charity events.
“What can I do to help you? What connections can I help make for you?” was what she asked immediately following the recording of this week’s episode. So to say she’s eager to give and always willing to help isn’t just lip service – it’s literally on her mind ALL the time.
Empowering people isn’t just a convenient tagline, she actually delivers. Her Instagram is a unique source of motivation, inspiration, and information – I’m (obviously) a follower myself!

Jen is one of the most authentic people I have ever met, and she has an uncanny ability to bring out the best in all those around her. If you do not follow Jen and the amazing things she’s bringing into this world, you are missing out! It’s rare to find someone of her notoriety with the amount of humility she has. The best is yet to come for Jen and I can’t wait to watch.
