Bert Sorin is the president of Sorinex Exercise Equpiment and son of the company’s founder, Richard Sorin. I first became familiar with Sorinex exercise equipment many, many years ago while it was under the tutelage of “pops” aka Richard Sorin. However, I didn’t develop a relationship with the Sorin family until they brought a Thomas Inch Dumbbell to the 2003 CSCCA national conference in Utah.
From that moment forward, a relationship of mutual respect has continued to grow and develop over the years. As you’ll learn from listening to the episode, Bert is passionate about making meaningful connections, building relationships, and helping to connect others to grow the positive influence on the world.
I was both honored and humbled to be invited by Bert as a guest speaker at both the 2018 and 2019 Summer Strong events. Through those two events alone I have come to know the Sorinex family on a deeper level and I continue to be excited by what they have in store for the future. I’d like to stress that by family I mean not only the actual Sorin family, but the fantastic Sorinex company family as well. I can’t say enough good things about the level on which they operate.
Under Bert’s leadership, Sorinex Exercise Equipment continues to grow and evolve as a front runner in producing equipment, but also as a grassroots movement serving thought leaders for maximum impact to make the world stronger. Bert said it best in the episode when he said, “someone else succeeding doesn’t take any shine off my apple at all, in fact, it makes it better.”
