Dr. Greg Sullivan
From the basketball courts of Brooklyn to 20 years in the financial industry and now to academia, Dr. Greg Sullivan knows competition – both the cut-throat, zero-sum, sub-optimal version; and the demanding, earned-respect, optimal kind. He’s heading the Positive Coaching Masters program at Mizzou where coaches can learn how to foster the optimal kind of competition, beginning with the notion that other people matter. Dr. Sullivan takes us through the power of positive coaching and explains how it’s NOT soft coaching, but rather is a relationship industry where there’s a balance of science and art.
You can find more of Dr. Sullivan’s work in his book, Servant Leadership in Sport. And a huge thanks to our podcast sponsors: Sorinex and EliteForm.
